The Inspiration Post #6

It's time for my 6th inspiration post of the year - this year is flying in!  Without realising, I've been spending much of my internet-browsing-free-time gushing over gorgeous makeup looks.  From my beauty wish list (last weeks post here) to watching more makeup tutorials and reading beauty editorials in my favourite magazines it's definitely been a makeup month!

I've rounded up some of my favourite fashion week beauty looks to share the inspiration with you.  They all have something different to offer and can completely change up your look.

Gorgeous Muted Contour & Highlight

Bronzed Brows

Freckles & Full Red Lips

Smokey Winged Eyes & Super Pink Lips

Bright Violet Eyes

Pastel Eyebrows & Hair
Do you have a favourite look you want to try or one that is beginning to look like your signature make up look?
I'd love to try more of a bare face with a bold red lip, similar to the freckles and full red lips image above - maybe I'll give it a go this weekend!

Beauty Wish List: 3 Summer Picks

Happy Saturday!

Recently I've been lusting over some new beauty products, coming into Summer I always love products that give you a bit of a glow and pop of colour.

St Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion
I'm so intrigued by this gradual tan, being pretty pale a gradual tanner is my best friend to get more of a natural glow, however in saying that, I do tend to miss this step in my beauty regime (it always seems to be the last thing I want to do before jumping into bed!).  So, a gradual in shower tanner sounds amazing.
Have you tried this product and what do you think so far?  I'd love to know if it's a worthwhile purchase.

Laura Mercier Face Illuminator Powder in Indiscretion
Glow, glow and more glow!  A gorgeous shimmer of highlighter which would look great with a subtle tan (as above!), and this illuminator looks dreamy.  I expected it to be a cream however it's more of a soft, silky powder with just enough shimmer - this is high on my lust list this Summer.

Zoeva Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette
Another glow-getter is an eyeshadow palette that would suit at anytime of the year, the gorgeous creamy, bronze colours are a perfect selection of neutral tones.  The colours would add depth to your eye look and the colours are all making me swoon!
Is this a worthwhile purchase?  I'd love to hear whether the eyeshadows are highly pigmented and if they are pretty long lasting.

What's on your beauty wish list for Summer?

Spring Scent: Jo Malone, Wood Sage & Sea Salt

I recently shared my perfume picks for Spring, all scents I still wear and love each week, however a new fragrance has made its way into my life and I absolutely love it.

No surprise to most - it's a Jo Malone cologne, the gorgeous Wood Sage & Sea Salt.

Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt Review

Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt Review

I have been obsessed with this scent for the past month or so, I usually pick out floral fragrances but I'm so in love with this.  It's such a fresh and invigorating scent with a top note of ambrette seeds, heart note of sea salt and base note of sage - it is a lovely woody scent which reminds me of the seaside.  I have the 30ml bottle so it is perfect in my handbag, I recently took it to a wedding and it was so nice to freshen up with such a beautiful, serene scent.

I'm in love!

This week I also wrote a guest post for Scot Bloggers where I spoke about my love for this fragrance and wrote more about my Spring favourites!
